Peekskill Clay Studios Theme: Ceramics
Located in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley and a short train ride from New York City, the Peekskill Clay Studios (PCS) is one of the region’s premier clay art facilities. In addition to a full range of adult and children’s classes from pottery to hand building, membership space is also available for experienced clay artists. The PCS features state of the art equipment and one of the area’s only reduction gas kilns.
Fluxional Clay, the Peekskill Clay Studios will showcase examples of contemporary ceramic works that push the boundaries of the conventional. Works will be chosen for their innovative use of found materials, digital processes and/or multimedia approaches.
